Carrie Harris has been writing professionally since 2001 and has written full time since 2009. She has worked with major publishers, small indie presses, and everything in between. Carrie writes both original and licensed books in a variety of worlds including Marvel, Warhammer 40k, the World of Darkness, and the Fate RPG. Her books Witches Unleashed: A Marvel Untold Novel and Liberty and Justice for All: A Xavier’s Institute Novel were Scribe award finalists for best licensed fiction, and her young adult horror comedy Bad Taste in Boys was named a Quick Pick for Reluctant Readers. Over her 20+ years in the industry, Carrie has coached many aspiring authors, most notably as a former organizer of WriteOnCon, an online kidlit writing conference. She is a member of the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association.

In her spare time, Carrie often appears on podcasts and at conventions to gush at length about her favorite fandoms. A former tabletop game exec, she can’t say no to a game night invitation, especially for coop games and classic dungeon crawlers. She enjoys crafts like crocheting and cross stitch and learned how to cook from a real French chef. Carrie lives just outside NYC with her ninja doctor husband, three teenagers, and a cranky dog named Slartibartfast.
